# Language menu

The **Language menu** element offers a language selector to your visitors. It relies on the languages activated on the [Translations](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/translations.md) page: there's nothing to configure in the side panel.

<DocsScreenshot name="translations-language" alt="Available languages are configured on the Translations page." caption="Available languages are configured on the Translations page." :width="990" :height="298" />

## Style

The [style panel](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/editor/style/index.md) gathers the size and color of the selector, [background](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/editor/style/background.md), [borders](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/editor/style/border.md), [corner radius](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/editor/style/border-radius.md), [shadow](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/editor/style/box-shadow.md), [inner margins](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/editor/style/padding.md) and [transitions](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/editor/style/transition.md).

On the site, the button shows the flag and the code of the current language; clicking it opens the language switcher. The menu only makes sense if you've activated several languages on your site: with a single language, the click opens nothing.
