# Categories

Categories group the products in your catalogue. They are managed in **Store > Categories**, a section available to the **Manager** role only.

- Open **Store > Categories** to create a category or edit an existing one.
- In **Sale**, the product grid can't be filtered by category: find a product with **Search by name or SKU** or scan its barcode.
