# Themes

The Themes page, right below [Pages](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/pages.md) in the **Website** menu, lists every page of your site you design in the editor besides your website pages: your brand identity, the blog and store pages, the checkout steps, customer sign-in and the missing pages. Click a row to open its page in the editor.

## The pages in the list {#pages-in-the-list}

Each row carries the page's name. Pages are sorted by group, in the order a visitor meets them:

| Group             | Pages                                                                                                                                                                                                                       |

| Customer accounts | [Customer sign-in, Customer personal area](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/themes-accounts.md)                                                                                                                                                            |

The four "… not found (404)" rows open the same page, the [Missing pages](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/themes-not-found.md), each with the preview of its case. The **E-commerce**, **Checkout** and **Customer accounts** groups only appear when you have a shop.

Your website pages (home, contact, about…) are not listed here: you edit them from [Pages](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/pages.md).

## Find a page

- **Tabs**: above the list, one tab per group filters the rows; each group's number of pages shows next to it.
- **Search**: type the page's name, its group or its address on your site, for example "product" or "/checkout".
- **Badge and address**: under the name, a colored badge shows the group, followed by the page's address on your site ("…" stands for the part that changes from one product or article to the next).
- **Preview**: the thumbnail shows the page as it appears. Hover over it to enlarge it; clicking the enlarged preview also opens the page in the editor.
- **Introduction**: on your first visit, a short video presents the page; the **Watch the overview** button, at the top, plays it again.

## Tell whether a page is customized and live {#page-status}

The **Status** column shows two badges:

- **Published** or **Not published**: whether your layout for this page is live. Under the badge, the publication date (hover over it for the exact date).
- **Customized** or **Default**: whether your visitors see the page you built in the editor, or still Vivlab's original page.

**Last modified** shows when you last changed the page in the editor, published or not. The **Logo, colors and fonts** row has no status: its settings apply as soon as you save them.

On mobile, the list shrinks to the name: the **Customized** or **Default** badge shows next to the group.

## Edit a page

Click its row: the page opens in the editor, with its desktop and mobile preview. Edit it, then click **Publish layout**. The editor's back button returns to this list.

Each page has its own elements (the sign-in form, the product grid, the cookie banner buttons…) that you place and style like regular blocks. Before publishing, Vivlab checks that the essential elements are present on desktop and mobile, so that no visitor gets stuck; in **Elements**, the **To add** badge marks the missing ones. Until your layout is published, visitors see the original page.

## Change the identity of the whole site {#brand-identity}

The **Logo, colors and fonts** row opens your [brand identity](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/themes-brands.md): logos, favicon, accent color, palette, fonts, buttons and cursor, shared by every page.

## Good to know

- Blog, store, sign-in and missing pages appear in the preview as your visitors see them.
- The checkout steps, the customer personal area, the protected page, the cookie banner and the closed shop only exist with a cart, a signed-in customer or a specific situation: their preview shows your layout with sample data. While you have no product or article, the product and article pages show sample data once customized; otherwise, their thumbnail says "Nothing to preview yet".
