# Carriers

Use **Carriers** to connect the delivery companies that ship your [orders](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/orders.md). Do this when you open an account with a carrier, change the connection details it provided (called **API credentials**), or want Vivlab to generate shipping labels automatically. Once connected, add the corresponding delivery option in [Shipping](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/shippings.md).

## Mondial Relay

This section lets you connect your professional Mondial Relay account to Vivlab so that labels for orders delivered to a relay point are generated automatically, without re-entering parcel information for every shipment.

The connection assumes you already have an active professional Mondial Relay account and that you can sign in to [connect.mondialrelay.com](https://connect.mondialrelay.com). If not, open one from the Mondial Relay professional site before continuing.

To activate the connection, fill in the three identifiers provided by Mondial Relay in your pro area:

- **API Brand ID**: your brand's identifier (e.g. `BDTEST123`).
- **API Login**: the technical login linked to your account (e.g. `BDTEST123@business-api.mondialrelay.com`).
- **API password**: the technical password provided by Mondial Relay.

A fourth field, **Private key**, is optional: it is only used for parcel tracking, then shown directly on your [orders](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/orders.md). The key sits in the same place as the three credentials in your Mondial Relay area. After saving, allow up to 1 hour for the first tracking sync.

To retrieve these credentials, sign in to [connect.mondialrelay.com](https://connect.mondialrelay.com), then:

1. Click **Administration** in the top bar, then **API configuration**.
2. Select **API Version V2.0**.
3. In the **Your production parameters** area, copy the values **Brand Id API**, **Login API** and **API password**.

If the API password isn't shown or you've lost it, click **Regenerate API credentials** to get a new one. If in doubt, the **Where to find this information?** button below the fields shows a screenshot of the relevant Mondial Relay Connect page.

Then come back to Vivlab, paste the three values in the matching fields, then click **Save** to activate automatic label generation on Mondial Relay shipments.

::: warning Caution
On your Mondial Relay Connect area, make sure you copy the credentials shown under **Your production parameters**, not the test ones. Test credentials cannot generate real shipping labels.

::: tip Tip
Before generating your first labels from [**Orders**](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/orders.md), remember to credit your Mondial Relay account: shipping fees are charged for every label printed. Without enough credit, the label cannot be generated.
