# Home

The **Home** page is your store's overview dashboard: it brings together your key indicators (sales, traffic, audience) for the period you choose. Come here whenever you want to take the pulse of your business, in the morning to see yesterday's sales, at the end of the month to measure progress, after a campaign to gauge its impact, or simply to identify the pages and products that are performing best.

It's also the first page you see when you arrive on the dashboard. Sign in with the **Sign in with Google** button or with your email address and password; if you've set up a passkey, your device's biometrics or PIN code work too.

The main menu, at the top of the screen, is organized into six groups (**Home**, **Website**, **Blog**, **Store**, **Orders** and **Customer accounts**); the active group unfolds its pages in the sidebar on the left and is marked by a coloured underline beneath its name; each page matches a page of this documentation.

If the window is too short to show a whole group, its list scrolls.

That sidebar runs the full height of the screen. At the top sit your site name and the **Toggle menu** button, which collapses it to a single column of icons; just below, **Search** (⌘K, or Ctrl+K on Windows) finds a page, a product or an order without leaving your screen.

The pages of the current group fill the middle, and your account sits right at the bottom: click your avatar to open **Settings**, the display **Theme** (light, dark or automatic), **Help** (**Documentation** and **Support request**) and **Sign out**.

At the top right of the screen, **Visit the site** opens your store in a new tab; hover over it to see your site's address, a QR code that opens it on your phone and a shortcut to your [domain name](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/domains.md) settings.

On mobile, the sidebar opens from the round button in the top-left corner.

On every dashboard page, the main action stays visible at the top right (**Create a product**, for instance) and the page's other actions are gathered in the three-dot menu **⋮** next to it, each one with a short explanation.

If you're new to Vivlab, the [**Getting started**](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/getting-started.md) page brings every setup step into a guided list that checks itself off automatically. You can also handle them one by one: your [sign-in](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/account.md) and your [preferences](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/preferences.md) in **My account**, your first [pages](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/pages.md) and your [domain name](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/domains.md) in **Website**, then, if you sell online, your [products](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/products.md), your [shipping rates](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/shippings.md) and your [online payments](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/payments-settings.md) in **Store**.

A period selector (today, last 7 days, this month, this year…) is available at the top of the page; the **Custom range** option opens a calendar to set your own start and end dates.

All indicators and charts refresh automatically based on the selected period. Until your site has recorded any visits this year, the page shows a preview of the analytics instead, with a **Create my first page** button.

If you have an active subscription, an **Earn 20% recurring credit** banner appears at the top of the page: the **Refer a friend** button opens the [referral](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/referrals.md) dialog to share your invite link.

## Period summary

At the top of the page, you'll find the **summary of views, visits and sales over the selected period**. At a glance, you have the essential numbers for your business:

- **Revenue**: total sales collected.
- **Items sold**: total number of products sold.
- **Number of sales**: number of orders.
- **Average basket**: average amount per order.
- **Number of page views**: total volume of views on the site.
- **Number of visitors**: number of unique visitors.
- **Conversion rate**: share of visitors who placed an order.
- **Revenue per visitor**: revenue divided by the number of visitors.

The sales indicators (revenue, items sold, average basket, conversion rate…) only appear if sales were collected over the period; without sales, only views and visitors are shown. Change the period to compare two intervals (for example this month versus last month).

## Site performance

This section displays the **evolution of views and visits over the selected period** as line charts. It's used to spot audience peaks, quiet days and the effect of your marketing campaigns over time.

## Google Search Console

This section shows the **clicks and impressions of your site in Google Search over the selected period**, with four counters: **Clicks**, **Impressions**, **Click-through rate** and **Average position**. It requires your site to be verified in Search Console: until that's done, a **Configure** button sends you to your [SEO settings](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/seo.md).

## Most viewed pages

Ranking of the [**pages**](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/pages.md) **most viewed by your visitors**. Useful to identify the content that grabs attention and the pages where you should focus your conversion efforts.

## Sources

This section **shows which site visitors came from** (search engine, social network, direct link, partner…). It helps you measure the effectiveness of your acquisition channels.

## Device

Breakdown of your audience by **device type used by your visitors** (computer, mobile, tablet). Check it regularly to ensure your site is well optimized for the dominant device.

## Browser

**Web browsers used by visitors.** This information is useful for prioritizing your compatibility tests.

## Country

**Countries of origin of your visitors.** Worth checking before adapting your content, taxes or payment methods to a new market.

## Top sales

**Ranking of the most sold e-commerce [products](https://docs.vivlab.com/en/sections/products.md)** for the period. Use this ranking to decide which products to promote, restock first or include in your next campaigns.
