Getting started

This guide takes you from signing in to your account through the first essential settings to launch your Vivlab site under the right conditions.

Sign in to the dashboard

Go to the sign-in page and identify yourself, either with your Google sign-in or with your email address and password. If you've set up a passkey, you can also use your device's biometrics or PIN code.

On your first sign-in, you arrive on Home, which presents an overview of your activity.

Discover the side menu

Take a minute to browse the left-hand menu. It's organized into eight groups: Home, Website, Blog, Store, Dropshipping, Orders, My account and Help. Clicking on a group reveals the list of matching screens in the submenu.

Set up your account

Before working on your site, configure your account information in the My account group:

  • in Sign-in, check the email address linked to the account and, if you sign in with a password, activate a passkey to make future sign-ins easier.
  • in My preferences, choose the light or dark theme, the language and the dashboard's accent color.
  • in Manage my plan, fill in your Billing address and verify your payment method — this information appears on every invoice and ensures your subscription is charged correctly.

Prepare your website

Head to the Website group to lay the public foundations:

  • create and organize your pages from Page list.
  • reserve or connect your custom address in Domain name.
  • adjust the global appearance in Themes.
  • fill in titles, descriptions and redirects in SEO and Redirect rules to rank well on search engines.

Set up your store

If you sell online, open the Store group:

  • build your catalog in Product list.
  • define shipping fees in Shipping rates.
  • activate one or more payment methods in Online payments.
  • check your VAT rates and your Billing data before processing your first orders.

Track your activity

Once the site is live, the Orders group becomes your operational dashboard: Order list to handle sales, Subscription for recurring sales, Customer accounts for your buyers, and Recent payouts to track transfers.
