Winter 2022: new visual identity and a richer editor

Winter 2022 brings a new visual identity to the dashboard, a significantly richer page editor, and several additions on the store and checkout sides.

New visual identity

The whole dashboard has been refreshed with the new visual identity, for a more consistent and harmonious experience. The plan management page has been reworked in the same effort.

Easier onboarding

A getting-started guide appears on the dashboard home to help you through the first steps after sign-up.

Website

Page editor: major release

The page editor takes a major step forward, with a deep rewrite of its source code (quality, performance) and many new features:

  • Colour picker (eyedropper) to reuse the exact shade of an element.
  • Alpha transparency support for colours.
  • Internal links to other pages, categories or products directly from the editor — no more copy-pasting URLs.
  • Remove the home page from the navigation bar when it suits your tree.

New product editing interface

The product editing screen has been redesigned to be more user-friendly, from the Product list.

Downloadable T&Cs templates

Terms and conditions templates in .docx format are now downloadable to help you draft your legal notices more quickly.

Store

You can now add related products to your product pages, to highlight complementary items and enrich the buying experience.

Catalog display control

The Store theme now lets you control how your catalog is displayed on your site.

Product page options

Product pages now accept options (choices offered to the customer like packaging colour, scent, personalisation level), which don't affect price or stock.

Duplicate in the dashboard

Save time by duplicating a discount coupon, product or shipping record directly from the list.

Orders

Improved checkout

  • Newsletter signup simplified at checkout.
  • Custom text per shipping option — add a specific note depending on the chosen method.

Notable fixes

  • Image format check is no longer case-sensitive, file uploads are more forgiving.
  • The contact form, which had intermittent issues, is now fully reliable.
  • Page reordering, deletion of categories and sub-categories, and the main title display on the home page have been fixed.
  • The checkout now correctly captures the address, phone, name and VAT number during a subscription sign-up.
  • A memory leak has been fixed on the site.

Internal tools

A "How did you hear about us?" questionnaire and a Tawk.to chat have also been deployed to better understand and assist new customers.
