Pre-order or launch on a set date
Example: an illustrated notebook shipping from 1 December.
Vivlab has no pre-order mode or scheduled release. Two options:
- Sell now, ship later: create a dedicated shipping method with Set a fixed date on 1 December.
- On the notebook, turn on Associate the product with specific shipping, select that method and state the shipping date in the description.
- Launch without early sales: keep the product Inactive and switch it to Available on the day.
Result: at checkout, the customer sees 1 December instead of the delay in days, which comes back on its own after that date.

Unlimited or tracked stock, with alerts
Example: print-on-demand cards with no limit, and candles you want to hear about below 3 pieces.
- Cards: leave the Quantity empty (Unlimited in the table).
- Candles: enter the real quantity, variant by variant.
- In the Notifications pane of the Settings window (your avatar menu), turn on Stock alert with an Alert threshold of 3.

- In Products, ⋮ menu > Edit products.
- Price column: 19.50 for each candle (a product with variants unfolds: change each variant).
- Check the change counter, then Save: only the changed values are sent.
Result: prices change right away. There is no automatic percentage increase: ask Assistant Vivlab (Assistant button on the Products page) "raise the prices of the Candles category by 5%", it proposes the prices and only applies them once you confirm.

Strikethrough price
Example: the "Linen" dress goes from €65 to €49 during the sales.
- On the product, set the Amount incl. VAT to €49.
- Turn on Show a promotion, initial price €65, then Save.
Result: the store shows €65 struck through next to €49. The initial price must be strictly higher than the sale price. With no automatic end date, restore the price and turn off the option after the sale. For a code entered at checkout, see Discounts and coupons: common cases.
Learn more: Show a strikethrough price.
Import an existing catalog
Example: 150 products from Shopify, or a supplier's Excel file.
- First create your categories and filters: the import ignores values that do not exist.
- Export as CSV from Shopify or PrestaShop, or keep the supplier file (CSV, Excel, PDF or photo).
- In Products, ⋮ menu > Import with the assistant. Drop up to 8 files (18 MB in total), then Analyze.
- Uncheck the products to leave out, then Create.
Result: rows with the same name become the variants of one product, with prices, stock and images. The assistant does not invent prices or stock: check a few products. Empty catalog: Create a product > Import my products with My shop link collects the public products of your former site. With the Confort plan and Amazon Seller Central connected, each Physical product offers Create from the Amazon catalog (keyword, ASIN, SKU or EAN): name, images, weight, reference, categories, filters and description are pre-filled.
