Categories
The Categories section lets you organize and structure the products of your catalog into hierarchical groups. Come here whenever you want to create a new category, add a subcategory, edit a label or visual, reorder the hierarchy, or disable a category that's no longer relevant.
The hierarchy is shown as an expandable tree: each node is a category and can contain subcategories. Click on a category to edit its settings, or on Add a subcategory to create a child level.

Create a category
Click Create a category to add a new category at the root. To create a subcategory attached to an existing parent, use Add a subcategory directly on the relevant row.
Reorder
When several categories coexist, the Reorder button lets you change the display order on your store. This order determines how visitors discover your catalog in the menu and category lists.
Category settings
Clicking on a category opens the edit form (titled Category for a root category, Subcategory for a nested one). The View page button opens the matching public page in a new tab — handy for quickly checking how it looks for visitors.
Content
The Category name is used as the page title and in the URL. The Category description introduces the category to your visitors; give it some care since it's also used for the SEO of the page.
Image
Add a Category image to illustrate the page and make it more attractive in menus and lists.
Settings
The Category status block lets you toggle the category between active and disabled. A disabled category no longer appears on your store or in navigation, without being deleted.
The Parent category field lets you attach the category under another existing one — useful for moving a category around the hierarchy without recreating it.
Subcategories
When the category has child categories, they are listed here. Drag and drop subcategories to change the order they appear in on the store.
