Authors

The Authors page brings together the profiles of the people who write the articles on your blog. Linking an author to each article adds context and credibility to your content, and lets readers find every article signed by the same person.

Come here whenever you welcome a new writer to your team, update the photo or role of an existing author, or want to remove an author from public display without deleting them permanently.

Author list

This section lists all your authors with their name, role and state. Each author can be linked to several articles. Use the search bar at the top of the table to quickly find an author by name.

Click Create an author to add one. Fill in their Name (as it will appear under articles), their Role (for example Editor, Marketing manager), a profile photo and their State.

A disabled author no longer appears on published articles, but their bylines remain saved: you can reactivate them at any time. Click on a row to edit an existing author. To permanently delete an author, open their profile and confirm the deletion — this action cannot be undone.
