Authors

The Authors page brings together the profiles of the people who write the articles on your blog. Linking an author to each article adds context and credibility to your content, and lets readers find every article signed by the same person.

Come here whenever you welcome a new writer to your team, update the photo or role of an existing author, or want to remove an author from public display without deleting them permanently.

Author list

This section lists all your authors with their name, role and state. Each author can be linked to several articles. By ticking several authors you can activate, deactivate or delete them, or export them to a CSV file.

Click Create an author to add one. The profile brings together the Author name (as it will appear under articles), the Author role (for example Marketing manager), the Author portrait, a short Description and the Author status.

A disabled author no longer appears on published articles, but their bylines remain saved: you can reactivate them at any time. Click on a row to edit an existing author. To permanently delete an author, open their profile and confirm the deletion, this action cannot be undone.
