SEO audit
The SEO audit page (the menu entry flagged New under Website) analyzes your site's published pages and gives each one a score out of 100, along with located alerts: missing title, description too short, image without alt text… Every page gets its own detailed report explaining what to fix, why and how.
Come here before submitting your site to Google, after reworking your showcase pages, or regularly to check that your latest changes haven't hurt your rankings. The audit complements the SEO section, where you configure your store's sitemap, titles and descriptions.
Running an audit
The page opens on a presentation screen: click Run the audit to start the analysis. Two prerequisites:
- an active subscription — without one, the button gives way to See plans;
- a connected custom domain — otherwise the warning "Connect a domain first to run the SEO audit." shows up with a Configure button, since the audit loads your live pages the way a Google bot would.
The audit reads your sitemap and analyzes your published showcase pages, up to 25 of them. Disabled, password-protected or noindexed pages are skipped.
INFO
Results are not kept between visits: when you come back to the page, run the audit again to get fresh data.
Results page by page
Each analyzed page takes one row in the table: Page (the address, like /shop, followed by the page title), Score out of 100 in a colored badge (green from 90, orange from 75, red below) and the number of Alerts to handle. If a page could not be loaded, the Analysis failed badge replaces its score.
The Run audit button at the top of the card reruns the full analysis. Click a row to open that page's report.
The detailed report
The report header shows the page address, the analysis date ("Audit run on August 9, 2026") and how many points need improving out of the sixty or so checked. Two buttons sit next to it: Export to PDF, which opens the browser's print dialog with a print-friendly layout, and Run the audit again.
Below come a preview of the page as it appears when shared (image, domain, title, description) and the score gauge with its level: Weak below 50, Fair from 50 to 79, Good from 80. The Potential after fixes bar shows the score you can reach by handling every reported point, for example "up to ~92 / 100", with the breakdown "Today 74" and the Possible gain "+18 pts".
As soon as a single fix is worth at least 2 points, the red Fix this first callout highlights it; Fix it now scrolls the report to that point and expands it.
The Filter control narrows the list to Critical, Warnings or Worth watching points; All restores the full list.
Fixing issues point by point
The points to fix are grouped into collapsible categories, each with its alert count. Only the affected categories appear:
| Category | What the audit checks |
|---|---|
| Content | The amount and variety of text, repetitions, the title and description shown on Google, the heading hierarchy (H1, H2…), the address format. |
| Configuration | The declared language, the canonical address, the site icon, mobile readiness, the directives left for bots, the weight of scripts and styles. |
| Structured data | The markup that presents your brand and your breadcrumb trail to search engines. |
| Social media | The Open Graph and Twitter Card tags that drive the page's preview when shared. |
| Links | How clear internal and external link texts are, insecure links, the attributes that stop Google from following them. |
| Images | Alt texts that are missing, empty, duplicated or too generic. |
| Videos | The video format, preview image, captions, autoplay, as well as embedded videos (YouTube…). |
| Network | HTTPS, compression, the page weight and its response code. |
Each point carries a severity badge — Critical, Warning or Worth watching — and, when it weighs on the score, a green badge showing the possible gain, for example "+3 pts". Click the point to expand it:
- Why it matters explains the stakes in plain terms;
- Found here shows the elements involved (text excerpt, image or link address);
- How to fix it walks you through the fix, step by step.
Depending on the point, an Open SEO settings button leads to the SEO section, and Edit the page opens the affected page in the editor. At the bottom of the report, a green panel sums up the checks already passing, nothing to do there.
TIP
Work in iterations: fix the point highlighted in Fix this first, then click Run the audit again to measure the points gained before moving on to the next alerts.
