Marketing extensions
The Marketing extensions section lets you connect your site to the main audience-analytics and advertising platforms — Google, Facebook, Pinterest — by simply pasting the identifier or tag provided by each service. These connections enable visitor tracking, fuel your advertising campaigns and verify ownership of your site with each platform.
Come here when you launch a Facebook or Google Ads campaign and need to install the matching pixel, when you declare your site to Google Search Console to track your SEO, when you activate Google Analytics to measure your audience, or when you claim your Pinterest site to get statistics on the sharing of your content.
Your changes are saved in one go with Save at the top of the page, or discarded with Cancel.

Pinterest
Claiming your site on Pinterest gives you access to sharing statistics: how often your content is pinned, by whom, and to which pins. It also lets users trace pins saved from your site back to your Pinterest profile.
From Pinterest, generate the verification tag (meta name="p:domain_verify"), click Edit, paste the full tag in the field, then confirm with Validate.
Facebook Pixel
The Facebook Pixel is a code snippet that measures the effectiveness of your Facebook and Instagram ads by tracking actions taken by users on your site (visits, add-to-carts, purchases). It's essential to optimize your campaigns and create custom audiences.
To retrieve your ID: from the Meta Events Manager, click Connect data sources, choose Web, follow the pixel creation wizard, then copy the displayed ID. Paste it in the Facebook Pixel field, then save.
Once the pixel is active, verify it's correctly installed from the Test events tab of Meta Events Manager: open your site, browse a few pages, and check whether events (PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, Purchase) come through in real time.
Facebook & Instagram Shopping
Facebook Shopping and Instagram Shopping let you showcase and sell your products directly from your Facebook page or Instagram account, by syncing your Vivlab catalog with the platform.
Setup requires two external prerequisites:
- A Meta Business Manager account (business.facebook.com) linked to your Facebook page and your Instagram account (set to professional mode).
- Domain verification on Meta's side. Meta will ask you to add a
TXTrecord to your DNS zone, or paste ametatag in your site (you can use Vivlab's Custom codes for that).
Then in Meta Business Manager, create a product catalog using the Scheduled data feed method, and provide the product feed URL generated by Vivlab. Meta will then sync your catalog automatically at regular intervals.
Activating Instagram Shopping
Instagram Shopping requires your account to be in professional mode (activate it from the Instagram mobile app) and linked to your Facebook page in Business Manager. Meta's review can take several days, especially for new accounts.
Vivlab product feed
The exact URL of the product feed depends on your configuration. If you can't find it, contact Vivlab support via Support request.
Google Search Console
With Search Console, identify the queries that bring users to your site, analyze impressions, clicks and the position of your pages in Google search results. Before you can see this data, Google must verify that you own the site.
In Search Console, add your site by choosing URL prefix (https://your-domain.com) rather than Domain: the prefix method accepts HTML-tag verification, without requiring an extra DNS record. Then choose the HTML tag method, copy the full tag (meta name="google-site-verification"), click Edit in Vivlab, paste it in the field, then confirm with Validate.
Once ownership is verified, submit your site's sitemap (/sitemap.xml) from Search Console to help Google index all your pages. See SEO for the full list of your automatic sitemaps.
Google Analytics 4
With Google Analytics, you can measure your site's audience, refine your SEO/SEA strategy and analyze visitor behavior. You can also interconnect other Google services.
To retrieve your ID: from analytics.google.com, create an account, then a property (site name, time zone, currency). Under Admin > Data streams, create a Web stream for your Vivlab URL, then copy the measurement ID in the form G-XXXXXXXXXX. Paste it in the Google Analytics 4 field, then save.
GA4, not Universal Analytics
The G-XXXXXXXXXX format is Google Analytics 4. If you still have a Universal Analytics ID (UA-XXXXXXXX-X format), it has been inactive since July 2023 — create a new GA4 property instead.
Google Tag Manager
With Google Tag Manager, you manage all your tracking tags (analytics, advertising, conversions) from a single interface without having to edit your site's code. You can also interconnect other Google services.
Copy your container ID (in the form GTM-XXXXXXX) from Tag Manager and paste it in the Google Tag Manager field, then save.
Can't find what you're looking for?
Only the major platforms have their own dedicated field on this page. If the tool you use (chat widget, A/B testing platform, less common ad pixel, heatmap script…) isn't in the list, you can still add it to your site via Custom codes.
Tip
Click Go to Custom codes to paste any third-party tracking script directly into the <head> or <body> of your site. Handy for any tool not listed on this page.
