Analytics
This screen brings together your register sales figures: revenue, number of sales, average basket, refunds, busiest hours and best sellers. Use it to follow the current day or to review a month or a year. It does not replace the closure reports, which are your register's signed tax documents.

Follow today's sales live
The Open register period shows the sales recorded since the register's last Z closure, or since it opened if it has never been closed. It is the default period. It matches what the next Z closure will seal (see Reports).
- In the Management menu, open Analytics.
- Keep the Open register period, or choose Today for sales since midnight.
- Leave the screen open: with these two periods, the figures refresh every minute while the screen is visible, and each time you come back to the tab.
The badge at the top right shows the time of the last refresh, for example Updated at 2:32 PM. It is green with a dot while automatic refresh is on.
TIP
On the Open register period, revenue shows Since followed by the date of the last closure: you can see at a glance how long the register has gone without a closure.
Choose a period
Tap the period picker at the top of the screen. It offers:
- Open register: since each register's last Z closure;
- Today: since midnight;
- Yesterday: yesterday, from midnight to midnight;
- Last 7 days, Last 30 days and Last 90 days: the days up to now, today included;
- This month: since the 1st of the month;
- Last month: the previous calendar month;
- This year: since January 1;
- Custom: the start and end dates you choose in the calendar.
- Tap the period picker.
- Choose a period from the list, or pick a start date then an end date in the calendar: the period then switches to Custom.
The chosen period and register scope are remembered on this device: you find them again the next time you open the screen.
Periods are limited to 12 months
A period longer than 12 months is not refused, but only its last 12 months are shown. A message says so under the key figures.
See one register or all registers
Next to the period picker, choose This register to see only the register used on this device, or All registers to add up the sales of all your registers. With All registers, a By register ranking is added at the bottom of the screen.
If the register has no sales yet in the period, the screen shows Your sales will take shape here, with a New sale button to go and ring up a sale and an All registers button to see the other registers' sales.
Read the key figures
The first row shows four figures, each with its change compared with the previous period of the same length (for example, the 7 days before for Last 7 days): a badge gives the difference as a percentage, with an up or down arrow, or a dash if the figure is stable. The Open register period has no comparison.

- Revenue incl. VAT: the total, VAT included, of the period's receipts, refunds deducted.
- Sales: the number of sale receipts.
- Average basket: the average amount of a sale receipt, calculated without refunds.
- Items sold: the number of items on the receipts, items taken back in a return deducted.
The second row completes the picture:
- Refunds: the number of refund receipts and their total amount, for example
2 · €45.00; - Discounts granted: the total of discounts applied on receipts;
- VAT collected: the VAT included in the receipts;
- Identified customers: the number of different customers linked to a sale (a customer who buys three times counts once).
Analytics and closures
Analytics are recalculated from the receipts each time they are shown. For final, signed figures to send to your accountant, use the closures.
Read the charts and rankings
Below the key figures, the screen shows:
- Revenue over time: a curve by hour for a period of two days or less, by day up to 120 days, and by month beyond that;
- Busiest hours: the number of sales for each hour of the day, all days of the period combined, with the Peak time, the hour with the most sales. Tap or hover over a bar to see that hour's number of sales and revenue;
- Payment methods: each payment method's share (cash, card, cheque, bank transfer, credit note) of the amounts collected;
- Best sellers: the 8 items that bring in the most over the period, with the quantity sold;
- By staff member: each team member's revenue and number of sales, based on the operator recorded on each receipt (Not specified for a receipt without an operator);
- By register: with All registers only, each register's revenue, with its number of sales, or the date of its last closure on the Open register period.
To learn who the operator of a sale is, see Staff.
