Held tickets and quotes
This screen gathers the carts saved without payment. A held ticket sets a sale aside while you serve the next customer. A quote keeps a priced proposal that the customer will come back to pay. Both can be resumed in the cart to take payment.

Understand the difference between a held ticket and a quote
Both save the same contents: the items and their quantities, the linked customer, the coupon and the delivery. They differ in their purpose and in the printed title.
| Held ticket | Quote | |
|---|---|---|
| Typical use | Set a sale aside for a few minutes or a few hours | Give the customer a proposal to pay later |
| Printed title | HELD TICKET | QUOTE |
| List filter | Tickets | Quotes |
Neither is a sale: they record no payment and do not count toward turnover. Prices and coupons are checked again at checkout.
Held tickets and quotes are shared by all the registers of your account: a quote prepared on one register can be paid on another. All roles (Seller, Supervisor, Manager) can view, resume, print and delete them.

Pro plan
Saving a held ticket or a quote requires the Pro plan. On the Free plan, the screen shows a banner presenting the Pro plan (see Billing and usage).
Hold a sale or save a quote
You save from the cart on the Sale screen.
- Build the cart: items, customer, coupon and delivery if needed.
- Tap Cart actions (the three dots at the top of the cart), then Hold ticket or Save as quote.
- Enter a Name or reference that will help you find it, for example "Table 4" or "Quote Mr Durand, kitchen" (up to 120 characters). The default name repeats the action and today's date.
- Tap Save.
The cart empties right away and a notification confirms the save. You can serve the next customer.
A cart with a payment already recorded cannot be set aside: remove the payments first on the checkout screen.
On the Pro plan, locking the register with a cart in progress holds it automatically, under a name that includes today's date.
Save not confirmed
If the connection drops while saving, the register shows The save may have succeeded and locks the cart to avoid a duplicate. Open Held tickets & quotes, check whether the cart is listed, then tap I have checked the saved tickets to unlock the cart. If it is already listed, clear the current cart. Otherwise, save it again.
Find a held ticket or quote
Open Held tickets & quotes from the Sell menu, or from Cart actions on the Sale screen. The most recent documents come first, with their name, type, original register, date and number of items.
- Use Search held tickets and quotes to search by name or reference.
- In Type, choose All, Tickets (held tickets) or Quotes.
- Scan the QR code of a printed document with your barcode scanner: the register opens it directly. Any other scanned code is placed in the search box.
The New sale button returns to the Sale screen.
Check its contents
Tap a document in the list to open its details. They show:
- its name, type, Open status and creation date;
- the note Awaiting payment;
- the list of Items, with their variant, quantity, unit price and amount;
- the Subtotal, the Discount with the coupon code, the delivery, the Total and Taxes (included);
- under Details, the original Register, the linked customer and the document Reference.
Amounts are recalculated each time you open it, with your current catalog (Prices recalculated with the current catalog.): if a price has changed since the document was saved, the details show the new price. If the calculation is not possible, for example because a product was deleted or a coupon expired, the details show Current prices could not be calculated: tap Try again, or delete the document.
Resume the sale to take payment
- Clear or set aside the current cart: resuming requires an empty cart. Otherwise, the details say Save or clear the current cart before resuming this ticket.
- Open the held ticket or quote, then tap Resume.
- The register opens the Sale screen with the cart filled in. The document name appears at the top of the cart.
- Change the cart if needed, then tap Charge and follow the checkout.
Once the sale is completed, the document disappears from the list. If deleting it fails, the Sale recorded screen shows This ticket could not be deleted. Try again. with a button to the list: delete it by hand so it is not charged twice.
You can also set the resumed cart aside again: Hold ticket or Save as quote then replaces the old version with the new one. However, if you clear the resumed cart, the document stays in the list, unchanged.
If resuming fails, the register shows This ticket could not be resumed. Your current cart has been preserved.: check the connection and try again.
Prices when resuming
The resumed cart uses the current catalog prices, not those of the day it was saved. A quote therefore does not lock in its price: check the total with the customer before taking payment.
Print a held ticket or quote
- Open the document in the list.
- Tap Print. Your browser's print window opens.
- Choose your printer and confirm.
The printed document carries the title QUOTE or HELD TICKET, its name, the boxed notice Non-fiscal document and Does not constitute proof of payment, its reference, its creation date and the linked customer. It lists each item with its quantity, unit price, any discount and amount, then the delivery and the total, at the prices of the day it is printed. VAT is not shown: it appears on the receipt issued at payment.
At the bottom, a QR code lets you find the document again: scan it in Held tickets & quotes when the customer comes back. The document ends with a Print record, because every print is logged in the Activity history.
If nothing prints, allow pop-ups for the register in your browser: the register shows Allow pop-ups to print this document.
Delete a held ticket or quote
Delete a document the customer no longer wants, to keep the list up to date.
- Open the document in the list.
- Tap the trash icon Delete saved ticket.
- Confirm with Delete.
You can also delete a document directly from its row in the list. Deletion is permanent and logged in the Activity history, like holding a ticket and saving a quote. It has no effect on your sales or turnover.
If another device has charged or deleted the document in the meantime, deletion fails with This ticket could not be deleted. Try again.: refresh the list.
