Open dropdown menu
When you select a Dropdown menu element on the canvas, the editor automatically opens the menu to display all its sub-items, as if they were already expanded for a visitor.
When the menu closes
The menu stays open as long as it or one of its sub-items is selected. As soon as you click elsewhere on the canvas (on another block or in empty space), it automatically closes and resumes its normal visitor behavior.
This interaction is fully automatic: there's no button to enable. Select the menu, edit what you want, then click elsewhere to see the visitor rendering.
Why this auto-opening
Without it, you would only see the dropdown menu's button and it would be impossible to edit the formatting of sub-items (texts, descriptions, spacing). By forcing the opening during edit, the editor lets you click directly on a sub-item to adjust its content or style.
