Section adjustment

When you select a section — by clicking on it or on a block it contains — two discreet handles appear at the top and bottom. They let you vertically resize the section or add a new section above or below.

Lengthen or shorten a section

Grab the bottom edge handle of a section and drag down to lengthen it, up to shorten it. The minimum height depends on the content: the section can't become shorter than the lowest block it contains.

The top edge handle does the equivalent by raising or lowering the top of the section. Every block inside is shifted accordingly to keep their positions relative to the section.

While you drag, a black pill shows the section's current height in grid rows (for example 24 rows).

Collision indicators

While resizing, the blocks that touch the edge being modified are outlined in red to warn you: if you keep shortening, those blocks will limit the reduction.

Add a section above or below

When the canvas isn't being dragged, the handles offer an Add a section button (reduced to a + icon on narrow sections). Click it to open the Section templates window: pick a ready-to-use template or an Empty section in the Templates tab, or reuse a section from one of your other pages via the My pages tab. The section is inserted at the indicated location.

It's the direct equivalent of Create a section shown on an empty page, but chained inside an already-built page.

The section toolbar

When a section is active, a small vertical bar appears to its left with five buttons:

  • AI assistant: opens the AI panel to generate or edit the page, with the section already targeted.
  • Move up / Move down: moves the section one notch up or down the page.
  • Duplicate: inserts a copy of the section right after it.
  • Delete: removes the section and everything it contains.
