Carousel editing
When you edit a Carousel, the canvas switches to slide-by-slide editing mode: a single slide at a time is shown enlarged so you can edit its content, and a navigation panel appears next to it to switch from one slide to another.
Slide thumbnails
Next to the current slide, the editor shows a strip of thumbnails that represent every slide in the carousel. Click on a thumbnail to switch to it. The thumbnail of the slide currently being edited is highlighted.
Thumbnails are arranged in the carousel's direction: horizontally for horizontal scroll, vertically for vertical scroll.
Pagination
A pagination shows the number of the current slide and the total (for example 2 / 5). Two arrows next and previous let you switch from one slide to another without re-clicking the thumbnail list.
The arrows are automatically disabled when you're on the first or last slide.
Add, duplicate and delete a slide
Below the thumbnails, you'll find the usual actions:
- Add a slide — creates a new empty slide after the last one, with a default text Slide #X.
- Duplicate — copies the current slide right after it, with all its content and style.
- Delete — removes the current slide. The previous (or next) slide takes over as the selection.
Exit editing
The Back to editor (or Exit editing) button takes the canvas back to global editing mode: the carousel becomes a single block among others again, and you can move or resize it as a whole.
You can also click on any other block on the page to automatically exit slide editing mode.
