Text editing
To edit the content of a Text, Animated text or Button block, double-click on it on the canvas. The rich-text editor activates directly in place of the block.
Rich-text editor
Once in edit mode, you can:
- Type text directly where it will appear, with all the fonts and colors of the block.
- Select a word or a portion to bring up the floating toolbar at the top of the editor. It offers bold, italic, underline, links, lists, headings, alignment and the AI proofreader.
- Insert an image pasted from the clipboard (the accepted types are the same as for the regular image).
- Paste content from another site or document: Vivlab automatically cleans up unwanted formatting.
Capabilities by type
The available actions depend on the block type:
- On a Text, you have access to all options (bold, italic, lists, headings, links, fonts, alignment…).
- On a Button, only minimal enhancements are active (the button is meant to contain a short tagline, not a full paragraph).
- On an Animated text, the content is edited directly, but without headings or lists (animations expect plain text).
Initial cursor
If you double-click on a specific word, the cursor starts at that location. If you activate editing another way (for example by adding a new text to an animated text), the entire content is selected by default, ready to be replaced by typing.
Exit edit mode
Click outside the block, press Esc, or select another element to exit the editor. The content is saved automatically.
Auto-correction
The AI Stars icon in the floating bar offers spelling and style proofreading of your text. Click to analyze, then accept or reject the suggestions.
